Fitbit, Inc. is an American customer electronics and physical fitness business headquartered in San Francisco, California. Its products are task trackers, smartwatches, wireless-enabled wearable modern technology gadgets that determine data such as the variety of actions walked, heart rate, quality of sleep, steps climbed up, and other personal metrics involved in physical fitness. Before October 2007, the business was formerly named Healthy Metrics Research, Inc. While these devices appear to enhance physical activities, there is little proof that they improve health and wellness results.
